For over 2 weeks, the weather in Eastern PA hasn’t been the best. It’s been over 90 degrees, it’s been below 60 degrees and we’ve had several nights of steady rain. In life, there are many things we can’t control. This reminds me of the old saying:
Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.
-Charles R. Swindoll
Our players, parents and coaches have reacted quite well and sessions have proceeded as scheduled. One of our parents commented, “knowing the practice is on turf, makes me feel better.”
We feel it makes it easier for families and coaches to plan around the weather, and training on turf has allowed us to keep our commitment to practice and making players better.

Commitment To Practice
Teaching values such as commitment, preparedness and mental toughness is also very important to us. There will be good days and tough days. It’s not the good days that define us. It’s the tough days and how we react to them that define us. It’s those same values that define Quik Touch Soccer and they allow us to strengthen individual technical skills, rain or shine.
